ICT Board
Terms of Reference
The mission of the ICT Board is to provide strategic leadership and governance of ICT services and initiatives, and to oversee strategic ICT planning activities, for the whole of the South Australian Government. The ICT Board provides advice and information to Cabinet on ICT matters from an across-government perspective, focussing their attention on matters that affect most or all of the Government, without favour or bias to any one Cluster/Department/Agency or portfolio.
Meetings
The ICT Board meets monthly. If required, the Chair, or a majority of members, may call additional meetings.
Membership
The ICT Board is comprised of Department/Agency Chief Executives. The Minister for Infrastructure approves the membership of Chief Executives and other members to the ICT Board.
Reporting
The ICT Board reports to the Minister for Infrastructure and Cabinet's Major Projects and Infrastructure Sub-Committee as required. Reports, as appropriate, will be made available from time to time to the Senior Management Council and other committees. Formal reporting to Cabinet will usually not be more frequent that twice yearly.
Resources
The Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO) provides a secretariat function and other resources as required to support the work of the ICT Board.
