ICT State Control Centre
The Office of the Chief Information Officer fulfils the role of Control Agency for ICT failure within South Australian Government.
When an ICT failure occurs that requires a coordinated across Government response, the Office of the Chief Information Officer is the coordinating authority. Resources from agencies and across government suppliers are coordinated to maximise the benefit of ICT systems to the Government of South Australia during an across Government ICT failure.
The ICT State Control Centre is only activated when an ICT failure requiring a coordinated across Government response occurs.
Emergency Management
The ICT State Control Centre is part of the emergency management arrangements for South Australia and is subordinate to the State Emergency Management Plan [PDF].
